Bache Bros, one of South Australia's premier fresh produce suppliers, is currently seeking a Machine Operator / Fresh Produce Packer.
This is a fast-paced environment and is perfect for someone looking for a daily challenge and wanting to work with a great team of professionals who are passionate about fresh produce.
This is a full-time and ongoing position, and all applicants must have the rights to work full time in Australia with no restrictions.
This role requires 5 am starts Monday to Friday, with one weekend shift a fortnight typically from 5-9 am.
The Dispatch and Warehouse Assistant reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the timely and accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
The successful candidate will be detail-focused, have exceptional customer service skills, and experience in picking and packing.
This role requires somebody nimble and responsive, who is committed to keeping pace in an ever-changing environment.
This role will require a forklift licence and experience loading and unloading trucks.
What we are looking forTo be successful in these roles, you will need to demonstrate recent experience within a small to medium-sized business.
Tasks to be performed will include, but not be limited to:
Dispatch and collation of ordersPacking produce on a production lineSorting of fruit, ideally citrus or avocadosLoading and unloading trucksPreparation of paperworkGeneral warehouse dutiesForklift licence requiredThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Experience in warehouse practices (3+ years)Fast-paced packingAbility to lift 13kg boxes and undertake manual labourPlanning, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsA willingness to work as part of a team and autonomouslyHigh standard of work, striving for continuous improvementAttention to detail and accuracyWillingness to work and learnTeam playerAbout Bache BrosBache Bros is a wholesale fruit and vegetable company, supplying supermarkets and retailers with a wide range of fruit and vegetables.
