The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant / Pick and Packer to join our team in Coburg North.
You will be responsible for supporting the warehouse/logistics manager in the efficient operation of the Dermocosmetica warehouse.
You will be instrumental in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching stock orders, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are achieved.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and experienced in working in a fast-paced warehousing role, who is willing to work independently at times, follow instructions, be well presented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and most importantly have a mature approach to work and a strong work ethic.
Main Responsibilities Support the Warehouse manager with the warehouse and logistics operations for Dermocosmetica;You will be instrumental in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching stock orders;Work collaboratively and effectively within the team, providing support for the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the business;Daily correspondence with delivery courier companies;Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse;Selection Criteria Fork Lift / Walk in stacker operating – loading and unloading stock from pallets;Excellent problem-solving skills;Oversee all incoming and outgoing stock;Picking and packing of skincare and injectable product orders;Booking couriers and shipping of orders;Ensure inventory is processed, organised, and stored in accordance with correct procedural standards and processes;Stocktaking and inventory management;Knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy;Ability to work with all levels of company staff;Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback;About You - Skills and Experience Ability to work a walk in stacker / forklift;Excellent organisational & time management skills;Physically fit and able to do manual handling;Sufficient IT and Computer skills;Must have a current driver's license;Candidates must be excellent communicators (written and verbal);At least 3 years' experience working in a similar role;Resilient with an ability to take on board feedback and quickly act on it;Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;Strong understanding of safe work practices and strive to continually improve safety performance;Strong eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to investigate discrepancies and process variances;Ability to prioritise tasks in a very busy environment;Motivated team player and highly reliable with a willingness to do what must be done at any point in time;Ability to follow processes and procedures.On Offer If you're successful in joining this team you will be joining a fast tracked wholly Australian owned business that appreciates your input and local market knowledge and you will be involved in the total business mix of launching new brands, training & marketing.
