Apply nowWhat you will doThe SAP Sovereign Cloud Services DevOps Manager role manages a team of Operations engineers to provision and maintain SAP Cloud solutions, and builds strategic partnerships with internal decision makers, ensuring business critical & innovative outcomes are successfully achieved.As a people manager, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports, but the success of all employees within the Sovereign Cloud Services Australia Delivery team you are a part of by providing support and guidance to the wider Melbourne based Sovereign Cloud team to assist in driving behaviours and understanding of our Security obligations.
Look for opportunities to coach and recognize your direct reports and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.What you bringAccountabilityManages resources, ensuring business critical & innovative outcomes are successfully achieved.Builds action plans and makes operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the function's business success to ensure delivery against strategy.Accountable for annual goals established for the team.ComplexityMakes day to day decisions within the team.Leads by example, shares knowledge, and works collaboratively with direct reports.Provides technical input and guidance and regularly applies expertise in day-to-day activities.ExperienceKnowledge and experience of working with the Australian Security Standards – ISM, PSPF, and DSPF.Sound professional experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.Acts with sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and political awareness.
