Want the flexibility to work from home and the office?If we've got your attention, and you're interested in applying your skills to something new that will rollout to millions of people around the world next year, then we'd like to meet youRole HighlightsHigh-end MacBook Pro, 2x 43" monitors.Work with an incredibly talented team of industry professionals.About The RoleWe have built a new social media and location-sharing platform that is truly innovative and novel which will launch in Q1 2025.We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented BA / Technical Product Documentation Specialist to own the comprehensive documentation of the platform features, user interfaces, and functional capabilities.
You will be responsible for documenting current features and user flows in Atlassian Confluence, detailing all screen interfaces and system behaviors, and preparing documentation for upcoming features on our roadmap.
This role is central to ensure our internal teams have clear, structured, and accessible documentation, supporting both user education and product development alignment.We will rollout to countries around the world in 2025 which will require support for multilingual and accessible UX/UI across our iOS and Android mobile apps.Our roadmap is nothing short of exciting, and you will play a key role in our product's future.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain high-quality documentation for existing features, user flows, and system functionalities in Atlassian Confluence.Create and refine visual and written guides, including user journey maps, screen flows, interface layouts, and step-by-step functional explanations.Collaborate with our product manager, UX/UI designer, and developers to stay informed on feature updates and roadmap priorities.Establish a standardized documentation framework that evolves with product updates, ensuring consistency, readability, and accessibility.Serve as a subject-matter expert on features and assist cross-functional teams with understanding product details for user support, training, and development.Document new feature specifications and provide structured, actionable information on feature status, scope, and intended functionality.What We Are Looking ForProven experience in technical documentation for software products, preferably in a product or SaaS environment.Proficiency with Atlassian Confluence and familiarity with documentation tools like Jira and Figma.Strong ability to translate complex technical details into user-friendly and developer-ready documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work cross-functionally, adapting to fast-evolving requirements and product changes.Be highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership to deliver work on-time.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.This role will ensure seamless communication within the company and play a pivotal role in our product's lifecycle, facilitating product consistency, quality, and user satisfaction.Bonus points awarded if you've worked in a rapidly growing company where time is of the essence.This role is based in Melbourne, Australia, and working from the office will be required.
The office is located opposite Flinders Street Station in Southbank.
You will be provided with the flexibility to work from home based on the nature of your work schedule.
