About the facility Children's Services at University Hospital provides care to the Geelong community and surrounding areas.
We are dedicated to innovative, holistic family-centred care.
The Children's Ward is a vibrant, 28-bed general paediatric unit caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
About the Role The successful applicant will provide high quality, evidence-based, flexible and responsive occupational therapy services for inpatients (age 0-18) including but not limited to those with eating disorders, neurodiversity, mental health diagnoses, and complex disabilities.
The role provides opportunities for teaching, supervision, support, and development of less experienced staff and undergraduate students.
The role also includes a 1:4 weekend shift requirement, creating opportunities for the successful applicant to broaden their clinical assessment and discharge planning skills across a varied acute clinical caseload.
