Role Overview: As the Service Development Manager, you will be responsible for running the service and maintenance team, supporting small and technical projects, and developing the team to grow sustainably, including key clients and new electricians.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive hands-on experience in electrical services and a passion for leadership.
Your creative vision will help shape the team's growth and drive new opportunities in the market.
The successful candidate will be fully supported by the senior leadership team and have access to the extensive resource capabilities of our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
Management
Develop and execute a growth strategy for the service and maintenance division.
Lead, mentor, and manage the service and maintenance team, ensuring high performance and quality standards.
Recruitment and onboarding of new electricians.
Monitor and support the professional growth and training of team members.
Assign labor to projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and scheduling.
Drive the development of new skillsets within the team to meet market demands.
Project Management
Support and oversee small and technical projects from inception to completion.
Prepare tender documents and service and maintenance contracts.
Handle invoicing and financial aspects of service and small technical projects.
Business Development
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Focus on identifying and developing new clients and opportunities in the Victorian manufacturing industry.
The Ideal Candidate:
A licensed industrial electrician with supervision or management experience, or A Bachelor or Diploma of Engineering with team supervision or management experience.
Proven experience in industrial manufacturing environments, electrical installations, or maintenance within an industrial setting.
Strong leadership skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Highly motivated with a creative vision for growing the service division.
Strong knowledge of the electrical services industry, including key clients, stakeholders, and relevant Australian standards (e.g., AS3000).
