Specialist - Rehabilitation And Assistive Technology

Specialist - Rehabilitation and Assistive TechnologyYou will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to facilitate the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation and assistive technology for National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ) participants.
The employing entity for this role is NIISQ Agency.
Responsibilities: Provide expert strategic and operational advice and guidance to NIISQ Agency management and operational teams in relation to rehabilitation and assistive technology for NIISQ participants.Provide participants, their family and carers with information and support about the NIISQ and NIISQ Agency as it relates to rehabilitation and assistive technology.Assess participant needs in relation to rehabilitation and assistive technology and provide expert internal advice, guidance and options to maximise participant outcomes.Monitor participants' rehabilitation and assistive technology in collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate high quality services and participant independence.Lead and support NIISQ Agency team members in decision-making by providing expert technical guidance, coaching, and peer supervision.Lead the development, continuous improvement and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and resources to enhance the quality of rehabilitation and assistive technology outcomes for participants.Liaise with and provide guidance and education about the Scheme to rehabilitation and assistive technology providers.Support the effective management of rehabilitation and assistive technology complaints and incidents.Other duties or activities commensurate with the role.About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong commitment to shared values, and a broad skillset that includes:
