Bundamba State School is situated in the busy growth corridor of the eastern Ipswich area in South East Queensland.
Our school has a clear focus and a rigorous approach to teaching and improving the reading and numeracy standards of our students.
All key learning areas are taught in line with the Australian national curriculum.
We are currently seeking a motivated Primary teacher to join our school community where every student will be inspired to learn and accomplish academic, social, physical, and cultural goals to become a contributing citizen.
Bundamba State School prides itself on having a strong collegial sense of team where all members collaborate and support one another to deliver the best educational outcomes for our students, whilst being cognisant of staff wellbeing.
You will be supported by the pedagogy Coach alongside the leadership team who offer coaching and feedback loops to support capability development and mentoring through a teacher buddy approach.

Applicants for these positions must possess:
A strong background in trauma-informed practices, PBL, and differentiated learning for a diverse range of learners alongside quality pedagogy and curriculum understanding enabling effective enactment of planned curriculum.
Experience in pedagogy akin to LA co-constructed learning walls and a knowledge of how to effectively teach reading and writing across the primary curriculum.
A relevant teaching qualification.

Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher.

Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
