Universal Networks International is part of NBCUniversal, a Comcast Corporation, and is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.Job DescriptionCreate 'must see' annual Programming Plans and monthly Programming Schedules working with the Senior Program ManagerContribute to the monthly program planning meetingsSchedule and deliver daily transmission logs ensuring correct placement of NBCU promosEnsure appropriate creation and placement of Secondary Events (Certification Bugs & Zips)Download drafts and final schedules for transmission and deliver to affiliatesAction programming and presentation amendments in the broadcast systemLiaise with affiliates and broadcast playout on late changes / schedule issuesUsing all available reporting from the Research team, analyse ratings and monitor program performanceWork with the Ad Sales team on program sponsorship opportunities on linear and non-linearEnter all program metadata information into Lacuna including contract information (licence period, licence fees, runs etc) as well as programme information (synopsis, cast, classification etc)Manage VOD and blackouts information for all non-linear applicationsDistribute final schedules to internal and external stakeholdersClassification / compliance for programming and promosPrepare monthly / quarterly KPP and highlights documentsEnsure correct classification / compliance for programmes and promos to ensure appropriate warnings and censors are applied in Landmark and EPGProvide metadata and EPG schedule for BSVOD channelsCreate monthly KPP document for BSVOD channelsApprove and process invoicesAssist with ad hoc programming related tasksEnsure all deadlines are metQualificationsRelevant experience in a broadcast environmentFamiliarity with programme licence information and an understanding of the transmission processExperience using broadcast support systems in the programming and presentation scheduling fieldsAccurate data collection/entry and processing skills into required broadcast support systemA knowledge of different file formatsA sound knowledge of Microsoft office packages, specifically Excel and WordStrong written and verbal communication with the confidence to work with a broad range of internal and external colleaguesEnthusiastic and proactive approach, with a flexible attitude to working on ever-changing projects and ad hoc dutiesExcellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracyAbility to think on your feet and problem solvePositive attitude and solid team playerAn interest in working in media and developing a career within the broadcast industryThe responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the Company.
