What does the job look like?Linfox's Intermodal business unit is currently seeking casual HC licenced drivers with rail transport experience to join their team based in Mackay, QLD. The shifts will vary from Monday through to Friday with hours usually being 5:00am - 10:00am and some Saturdays or as required by site. You will also be on call to cover any sick leave or annual leave within the team. You will be responsible for local deliveries and hand unloads with various freight from our major customers both locally & regionally. Key areas:
Deliver freight both locally and throughout the regionDaily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interiorEnsure loads are restrained appropriatelyCompleting hand unloadsCommunicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where neededComply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling proceduresCommit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focusAre you the one?If you are self-motivated and enjoy day-to-day challenges, then this is the role for you.
