Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivated MR/HR Driver to join the team at our Mackay Branch. This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.
Success in this position is measured when DIFOT targets are met, a safe workplace is actively demonstrated and paperwork accuracy targets are met.
This is a front-line position, which requires a high level of communication, professionalism, presentation and customer service to be applied consistently every day.
Duties:Loading/unloading of truck - Strapping, gates, curtains etcPDA scanning complianceFatigue ManagementVehicle complianceSkills and Experience:A valid Forklift Licence preferred but not essentialMinimum 3 years' experience in the transport industry.Excellent driver history report.Great local knowledge of Sydney and surrounding areas.Ability to work unsupervised.Experience in multi-drops is essential.Get to know Border Express:At Border Express we're committed 100% to providing the very best supply chain services for Australia.
