Boral is seeking a responsible, organised and experienced professional driver to operate a Tanker Truck at our Maldon Cement Plant.
As a Boral Driver, you will be responsible for delivering product in a safe manner to customer sites throughout the Sydney Metro and Southern regions with the ability to prioritise your workload and conducting yourself safely at all times.
Please note this is a night shift role that requires flexibility to work Monday to Saturday. Your day will involve: Safe and efficient loading and unloading of materialsConducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as requiredCompleting basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materialsCommunicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiencesWhat are we looking for? Current HC LicenceProven experience driving a Heavy Combination (HC) vehicleBulk powder tanker experience preferred but we are prepared to trainDemonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulationsWhat's on offer? Stable Company fleet with consistent workloadPermanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime and weekend workCompetitive Flat rate of pay inclusive of overtimeSuperannuation of every hour workedMonthly Rostered Day Off – 13 additional, paid days offRegular Construction industry shutdown periods eg Easter/XmasAccess to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance ProgramAbout Boral Cement At Boral, we supply up to 4 million tonnes of cementitious products through our Berrima Clinker & Cement Manufacturing, Maldon Cement Grinding & Packaging, Marulan South Limestone Mine & Manufacturing, and Geelong Cement Grinding Operations.
Boral Cement is working towards reducing carbon emissions by replacing 60% of fossil fuel in its manufacturing process with lower carbon alternative fuel.
We have invested heavily in the development of Berrima's alternative fuel project, to enable the transition from coal to refuse derived fuels.
