The business delivers projects as diverse as the environments in which they are built, from high security military bases and major rail transport infrastructure projects, through to landmark buildings at the transport interface.About the opportunityThe Victorian Government's North East Link Program is Victoria's biggest road project that will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network. The project will connect the Eastern Freeway to the M80 Ring Road with new twin tunnels, taking 15,000 trucks a day off local roads, slashing travel times by up to 35 minutes and create new open spaces and walking and cycling connections for local communities.The project includes a massive overhaul of the Eastern Freeway, creating new express lanes and Melbourne's first dedicated busway with two new park and ride facilities improving access to public transport in the eastern suburbs.About the roleWe are currently seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join us on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. This is an opportunity to coach, mentor and support our team to foster a safe working environment. You will support the implementation of the projects Health & Safety Management Plan and ensure "best for project" outcomes are achieved. As well as running a team of Advisors and Coordinators, you will work closely with senior management and package delivery teams, to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance are adhered to.About youFormal qualifications in Health & SafetyPrevious exposure across Major Infrastructure Projects, Construction, Rail or Heavy Industrial environments within Tier 1 organisations is highly desirable.We work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
