Join Talent International as an APS5 Procurement Officer
Location : Surry Hills, Sydney Contract Duration : 12 months with the possibility of extension Hourly Rate : $55.24/hour + Super Work Hours : 7.6 hours/day | 38 hours/week Your Role: As an APS5 Procurement Officer , you'll play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities within a Federal Government environment.
Working under limited supervision, you'll undertake moderately complex to complex tasks while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and standards.
This is your chance to make a significant impact by delivering value-driven outcomes and supporting key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert procurement advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop procurement strategies, prepare documentation, evaluate tenders, and negotiate contracts.
Manage confidential and sensitive information with precision and care.
Ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) , policies, and procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to ongoing enhancements.
Monitor progress and drive the achievement of work area objectives.
What You Bring: Essential Skills: Strong understanding of Federal/State Government procurement processes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite .
Ability to manage high-volume tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Desirable Skills: Experience with procurement, HR, or project management systems.
