Entry Level IT, AV & Security Technician Next Edge Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and dedicated individual interested in a combination of IT, Security & Audio-Visual technologies to join our growing team in Smeaton Grange, NSW.
As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for assisting our company owner deliver solutions to our customers in both the commercial & events industries.
Entry Level Role
This is an entry level role, meaning it is targeted at a young school leaver or similar experience level applicant.
We do not expect you to have in-depth experience or knowledge but rather have a good grasp on the fundamentals and a willingness and eagerness to learn and grow your skills.
What you'll be doing (you will be)
Providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for audio visual systems.
Providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for CCTV, security & access control systems.
Setting up, configuring & installation of new equipment and software for our clients.
Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of all supported equipment across client sites.
Documenting and escalating technical issues to the appropriate team members, partners and/or suppliers.
Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
Assisting with the preparation, configuration and deployment of equipment for major events.
What we're looking for (you have)
No commercial experience necessary Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Working knowledge of desktop operating systems, including Windows and macOS Familiarity with common IT hardware and software, including printers, scanners, network appliances and productivity applications Basic understanding of AV equipment, such as visual displays, and audio systems A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and grow A valid driver's licence (minimum P1) What we offer

Role Location
This role is based in Smeaton Grange NSW, applicants should be willing and capable of working from our office 5 days a week.
This is not a remote role and not suitable for remote applicants.

Security & Police Check
For this role, we will help you (if you do not currently hold) gain an NSW security licence.
In order to hold this licence, you must be capable of passing a national police check.
