We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our client's team, where you'll play a key role in shaping their financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence.In this leadership role, you'll guide the offshore finance team, oversee accurate financial reporting, and work closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives.
If you're passionate about improving processes, enhancing systems, and fostering a values-driven workplace culture, this could be the perfect opportunity for youThis highly visible role offers opportunity for further progression down the track.Key Responsibilities Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow management and timely payments.Manage and process payroll accurately and efficiently.Lead, mentor, and support the finance team to achieve their full potential.Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to senior management and the Board.Oversee month-end processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.Prepare and present budgets and financial forecasts with precision.Monitor and optimize debtor and creditor accounts.Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, such as BAS and payroll tax.Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial systems.Attend bi-monthly Board meetings, contributing valuable financial insights and recommendations.Uphold and promote core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, and Passion.About YouWe're seeking a Financial Controller with the following qualifications and attributes:CPA or equivalent certification, with a bachelor's degree in commerce, business, or accounting.A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar financial leadership role.Expertise in cashflow forecasting and treasury management.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.A drive for continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.Absolute commitment to confidentiality and maintaining financial security.A team-oriented approach, thriving in a culture that values collaboration and integrity.What's in it for You?Free parking on-site.Health contributions to support your well-being.A lively social calendar and team-based bonuses.Your birthday off to celebrateA collaborative and supportive leadership team.Opportunities to drive meaningful improvements and leave a lasting impact.A workplace culture built on trust, respect, and passion.If you're ready to step into a pivotal role and help shape the financial success of this dynamic organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
