Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.About the RoleWith rapid national growth, we are looking for a Senior / Lead Civil Engineer to join our expanding Melbourne team and play a pivotal role in client interactions.This role will work across our extensive client portfolio engaging with our national multi-disciplinary teams requiring both effective leadership and strong technical proficiency.Skills & ExperienceIdeally you will possess the following skills and experience:Tertiary qualifications in Civil EngineeringChartership or working towards chartership statusCurrently living in Australia and be a citizen or permanent residentLocal Australian or ideally Victorian experienceDiverse experience within property and infrastructure projectsYou are a strong communicator and respectful of your peersYou have strong analytical and technical report writing skillsPassion to mentor and train others.Our team at Fyfe respects that everyone we have is unique and contributes to our successes, you will be a valued member of the team and can grow and develop in our multi-disciplinary organisation.Apart from working with a great group of people, you will be accountable for:Input, manage and review civil engineering drawings and designEnsure engineering design practices and standards in the organisation are in accordance with Australian Standards, guides and codes as appropriate, meeting industry best practiceReview engineering designs, plans, prepare project specifications, scopes of work, services review and project opinion of probable costPrepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvalsMeet with project team on a regular basis to provide advice and input into project deliveryConduct site inspections with clients; contractors; council and regulatory authorities where requiredBenefitsGreat office culture, built on respect and comradery.Professional career development, the company promotes talent from withinCompetitive salary and massive discounts with over 500 national leading retailersFlexible working conditionsSupport and contributions towards professional developmentHow to applyIf you believe you meet the above criteria and would like to join our team, click on the APPLY FOR THIS JOB button to submit your application.Follow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date with our news and projects.Please note, agency applications will not be accepted.
