Our fleet plays an essential role in getting us there, by enabling us to collect, carry and dispose of a range of waste and recyclable material.
Our Mechanics are crucial for keeping our trucks, trailers and other mobile equipment safe, maintained and operational.
Because of this, as a Mechanic you will be a fundamental part of the business.Reasons you'll stayThe Team: Being a Mechanic is often a solitary pursuit, but whilst you'll need to work independently, what makes this job special is the team.

You'll have a team by your side to help get our trucks back on the roadIncrease your earnings: Our core working hours are 10am to 6pm, but there are loads of opportunities to earn overtime by starting earlier or raising your hand for a Saturday shiftThe vehicles: You'll love our new and well-equipped fleet of vehiclesOur focus on safety: We take care of our people; everybody's safety is our utmost priorityWe're an essential service: Help the community and the environment move to a more sustainable futureYou'll never get bored
Our fully owned fleet of vehicles have a range of engineering equipment across our engines and trailers.
No two days will be the same, as you'll get stuck into a wide range of hydraulics, electrical to mechanical systemsWho you areYou'll be a natural problem solver, with the ability diagnose and find solutions to a range of mechanical problemsYou're a qualified Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant, Light Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic, or Auto-Electrician with experience in a range of facets of preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles including trucks and trailersStrong understanding of safetyYou're a team player, willing to pitch in, support and help when requiredYou'll be willing to attend to breakdowns after hours, on a rostered basis (overtime is paid for this)Who we areAt REMONDIS Australia, we're in a neat spot.
