Full time employment in a commercially stable environmentCompetitive remuneration and employee benefitsGreat career opportunity on a 8:6 FIFO roster ex Perth.We are currently inviting applications for the position of Mining Engineer on a permanent, full-time basis, with an 8:6 FIFO roster departing from Perth. In this role, the Mining Engineer will provide critical engineering and technical support, overseeing and supervising all stages of mining projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all engineering activities, including mine planning, design, and scheduling.Provide technical and commercial support to the site.Contribute to business improvement initiatives.Assist in managing and verifying survey data on-site.Support progress claim audits and assist with project forecast preparation.Carry out other duties as directed by your manager or site management/Senior Project Engineer.What We Offer:Permanent, full-time role.Work within a dynamic and experienced team.Employee referral bonuses.Training and development opportunities.A commercially stable environment.Wellbeing support for both you and your family, covering personal and professional matters.Salary sacrifice options.Qualifications and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.Experience in open pit mining, mine scheduling, and proficiency with software packages like Surpac or Deswik is highly regarded.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven experience in a contractor supplier role within the mining industry or a related sector.Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.Valid driver's license.Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.A current police clearance (issued within the last 12 months).This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career and play a key role in a rapidly growing organization.
