Senior Medical Secretary/Practice ManagerA busy OBGYN practice in vibrant Subiaco requires a Senior Medical Secretary/Practice Manager on a part-time basis to join their friendly and supportive team.
2 – 3 days per week must be able to work extra for leave coverStart beginning of December 2024Friendly and supportive team environmentOur client is seeking a Senior Medical Secretary to join our friendly and supportive obstetrics and/or gynaecology practice located in Subiaco.
The practice operates from 8am – 6pm.
Essential Criteria:Previous Senior Medical Secretary with gynaecology and/or obstetrics specialist practice experienceSelf-motivation, problem solving skills and the ability to work cohesively in a small team environment essentialExperienced using Genie Medical Software including billings, ECLIPSE/Medicare bookings, referrals and follow-up appointmentsAbility to multitaskMedical audiotyping experienceAbility to adjust and adapt to practice requirementsProficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft OutlookExcellent customer service to patients, other providers and hospital staff as well as excellent communication skills within the office team environmentExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgroundsMaintain a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
This includes a professional telephone manner and written email communicationsAbility to work in AustraliaProof of Covid-19 vaccinationAbility to cover full-time hours on occasion when other staff are on leaveDemonstrated empathetic, compassionate and professional demeanourDuties:Efficiently managing clinics and booking appointments entering patient data and registration informationChecking in patients appropriately depending on their gestation/procedureTriage and process referralsTheatre bookings including liaising with hospitals and anaesthetistsMeeting/greeting of patientsAnswering phones and making appointmentsCoordinating and managing clinic sessionsLiaising with various pathology and radiology providers to schedule scans and follow up results prior to clinicAccounts - billing/receipting money, banking and the use of EFTPOSScanning/entering clinical dataManagement of computerised diaryStocktake and ordering of office suppliesAudiotyping medical reports #J-18808-Ljbffr
