Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager - Sydney Water Projects Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to lead and deliver major infrastructure projects, specifically in collaboration with Sydney Water.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipeline construction and water infrastructure projects.
This role requires strong project management capabilities, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Sydney Water's standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and completion, focusing on water infrastructure and pipeline projects.
Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
Oversee compliance with Sydney Water standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Liaise with key stakeholders, including Sydney Water representatives, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
Address and resolve any technical, environmental, or logistical challenges that arise during project delivery.
Ensure quality control and project documentation are up to date and aligned with industry best practices.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on water infrastructure and pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Sydney Water standards and infrastructure processes.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
