St John Tasmania is a well renowned not-for-profit organisation whose vision and purpose is to serve humanity and build resilient communities. Join Our Training Team as a Training Facilitator (Full time or Part time).
This position can also be offered as a fulltime traineeship in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) for the right candidate. At St John Ambulance Tasmania, we are a self-funded, purpose-driven organisation making the Tasmanian community safer through first aid for over one hundred years.
Our people - employees and volunteers, are dedicated & passionate about what we do. Training Facilitators are responsible for the delivery of a range of accredited and non-accredited training to corporate and public customers both onsite and offsite.
We deliver training in First-Aid, CPR, Advanced Resuscitation, Low Voltage rescue and much more.
All courses are delivered in accordance with St John training frameworks, national quality standards, and organisational policies, procedures and protocols.
A driver's license is required for this role, as well as the ability to travel intrastate with some overnight stays from time to time. The successful candidate will have: Ability to understand and empathise with a voluntary based organisation and its culture.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide demographic, including people who have limited literacy and numeracy skills and English as a secondary language.Ability to develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated personal drive, positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to organisational values.Understanding of VET and RTO requirements or the ability to learn if not a current TAE certificate holder.Flexibility with start and finish times and travel intrastate when required.A driver's license is required for this role.Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or equivalent and have demonstrated experience delivering accredited training in an RTO environment, as well as a passion for first aid and developing others.Alternatively, we are looking for people with experience in engaging, educating, or motivating others.

A satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Employee/NDIS) is an essential requirement for working with St John Ambulance.
