About the Role Yooralla is seeking a permanent Full-time Garden and Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance and Gardening team in Mooroopna.
The Garden & Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for liaising with Yooralla Service Providers and external contracts.
This position will work directly with people with special needs, engaging in work-based learning, skills development, and building social relationships within the community.
The role requires providing leadership, on-the-job training, and support while managing a Commercial Social Enterprise.
The Garden & Maintenance Supervisor must have a horticultural background and expertise in this field of work.
About You: To be considered for this role, you must have: Qualifications in horticultureResponsible for the safe selection and application of pesticides and herbicidesDemonstrated understanding and proven ability to select and use suitable tools and methods, including a strong knowledge of electrical power tools and non-electrical manual toolsDemonstrated experience in the management and planning of building and grounds maintenance, including proven strong safety knowledge and skillsMandatory: Current National Police Record CheckInternational Police Check (if required)Working with Children Check (if required)NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent driver's licence to drive in AustraliaFirst Aid (HLTAID003) CertificatePrevious experience in property maintenance and/or horticultural activityPrevious experience using power tools or other equipment relevant to property maintenancePrevious garden maintenance or grounds work experience in a similar positionAbout Us At Yooralla, we believe that exceptional customer service starts with employees who love what they do.
