Your new role As a Litigation Lawyer you will handle complex litigation cases in various jurisdictions across Australia, providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse clientele.
Your responsibilities will include:
Representing clients in pre-trial reviews, pre-hearing conferences, settlement conferences, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as required.Liaising and negotiating with insurers and third-party lawyers.Conducting detailed legal research and analysis to support case preparation.Maintaining current knowledge of legislation and legal precedents relevant to motor vehicle litigation.What you'll need to succeed Admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Australia with ideally 2+ years PQE in litigationTo supervise legal matters and the matters of their direct reports.Proven ability to manage high-volume portfolio.Strong negotiation skills with a commercial acumen.Ability to work with deadlines and targets.An understanding of loss of use and credit hire law preferred.Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.A keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.A commitment to maintaining high standards and professionalism.What's on Offer: No billable hoursCompetitive salary package with incentivesRewards and Recognition programsAccess to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee referral bonusSupportive and collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
