Connecting the right people in ICT, to the right projects, at the right time from initiation to BAU | Government & Regulated IndustriesOur client specialises in the geospatial and data space and is looking for a User Experience Designer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis in Brisbane, with 50% work-from-home flexibility.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Data Scientists, to craft seamless and engaging user experiences.
Responsibilities Carry out user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and challenges.Design and develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for web and mobile platforms.Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to ensure designs are practical and implemented effectively.Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across applications.Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UX design and spatial data visualisation.Your Background A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in UX design, particularly in crafting solutions for data-driven platforms, with solid expertise in user-focused design methodologies.Skilled in design tools, such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar, with familiarity in geospatial technologies being an advantage.Capable of simplifying complex data into user-friendly designs, leveraging user research insights and innovative design strategies effectively.If you're seeking an exciting opportunity starting in early 2025 with a global business, contact Michael Tran on or email for more information.
