About the role As Resource Planning Specialist you'll be responsible for the accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of full-time equivalent (FTE) demand and associated costs across multiple divisions within the organization (permanent, fixed term, contractor and vendor workforce).
The role requires collaboration with divisional Group Managers, Senior HR Business Partners, HR Services, Reform Delivery and Finance teams.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.
What you will be doing Capture the projected FTE demand for the next 1 to 3 years by analysing historical data, upcoming business projects, and strategic objectives to provide accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to track actual costs versus planned workforce demand.
Provide variance analysis to highlight discrepancies and identify areas of improvement or optimisation.
Develop and maintain a reporting dashboard to display planned FTE / labour demand and associated costs.
Ensure that the dashboard is accessible and provides real-time insights for senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Through the liaison between HR, Finance, and divisional leadership you'll ensure alignment on workforce demand planning and budgeting by providing clear, data-driven insights to support decision-making regarding resource allocation and budget forecasting.
Facilitate discussion, present findings and recommendations related to workforce demand and cost management.
What you will bring to the role Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in workforce planning, financial analysis, or resource management in a large or complex organization.
Experience working with HR and financial systems such as SuccessFactors, Dynamics365 including professional project management modules, Power BI.
Ability to analyse large datasets and extract key insights to guide resource planning.
