MLG Oz have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an Auto Electrician looking to upskill to a Fleet Management System Technician.This role is responsible for the strategy and support of MLG's in-vehicle technology including telematics, driver safety systems, digital loading systems and site-specific communications.About the role:Full Training Provided Experience with VMS or DSS desirable but not necessary.8/6 Roster across all sites as requiredPerth Based Position (frequent travel to remote sites required - Company supplied vehicle)Immediate StartFull Time, Permanent OpportunityDuties may include some or all of the following:Physical installation of in-vehicle technology hardware in prime movers, rigid axle trucks, light vehicles and heavy machineryAssisting sites with Auto Repairs as RequiredIn person and remote diagnosis and support for hardware faultsProvisioning and maintenance of user accounts in software applicationsConfiguration of hardware and softwareMonitoring and distribution of reportsLiaising with internal and external stakeholders for ad hoc data/reporting requestsShort to long term strategy formulation and deliverySkills and Experience required:Knowledge, understanding or awareness of Telematics systems, in particular:MT DataDSS Seeing MachinesMDVR systemsMaintains knowledge of updated market trends in relevant technologiesBase level understanding of computer networkingWork autonomously, with minimal supervisionHigh level of problem-solving abilityPrevious experience with telematics systems, desirablePrevious mechanical or auto electrical experience (including audio/accessory fitting), desirableAuto Electrical Trade, desirableMust hold minimum "C Manual" WA driver's license.Ability to pass client-based drug and alcohol and medical tests.About Us:As an ASX LISTED COMPANY, MLG Oz is a contractor of choice which employs more than 900 people across 30+ sites and delivers:Aggregate and Sand SuppliesBulk Haulage & Integrated Site ServicesCrushing & ScreeningExport LogisticsMLG Oz is a company driven by its core values, we recognise that a diverse and inclusive work environment leads to increased engagement and trust, fresh perspectives and innovation and improves our overall performance.
