What role will you play?Our mission is to enable Macquarie to operate safely within a challenging digital environment by detecting, investigating and responding to advanced cyber threats.
We manage various platforms used by:
Cyber Threat Defence AnalystsCyber Threat Intelligence AnalystsDetection EngineersIncident respondersAmong others.
The platforms are:
Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)User Entity and Behaviour Analytics (UEBA)Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR)A proprietary centralised blocking systemAs a Senior Cyber Engineering Manager, you will lead a global team of platform and application Engineers who are responsible for half of these platforms.
You will take on the responsibilities to shape our strategy, integrate systems and cross platform scripting for automation and orchestration, drive roadmap and delivery, managing vendors and key stakeholders.
You will also have the opportunity to be hands-on in designing, developing, integrating and deploying front-end applications.
What you offer5-10 years' experience leading and developing engineering teamsEngineering delivery leadership skill, cyber security experience is highly regardedExperience with systems integration and/or python, preferably supporting cyber security or security adjacent teamsSaaS integration experience is a plusExperience with fully automated build processes and CI/CD workflowsExperience in agile product development and strong delivery experiencePassionate about solving cyber security challenges through automationExperience working directly with customers to understand how they operate and translate manual work processes into automated workflowsExcellent listening and influencing skills, and the ability to develop and maintain good relationships between a complex set of global stakeholders and vendorsExposure to Amazon AWS and Kubernetes desirableSecurity platform experience desirableWe love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
