Senior Specialist HSEQ | Global Icon | Regional Focus | Mining IndustryPosted Monday 30 September 2024 at 4:00 amJoin a globally recognised business and spearhead our HSEQ efforts across WA & SA.Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA)is a market leader in the tyre & mining services industry and is renowned for its global reputation for quality products, continuous improvement & cutting-edge application of technology.Our mission: Serving Society with Superior QualityTo support our mission, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) to work out of our Perth branch driving initiatives and compliance across WA & SA.You will collaborate closely and regularly with the key influencers within BMSA, and ensure our business complies with all mandated and legislated requirements including BMSA and customer specific standards and protocols.The BenefitsCareer development within the global Bridgestone business5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employmentAn extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestoneFully Maintained Company VehicleHealth checks / free flu shotsProduct discounts on Bridgestone TyresAdditional benefits & staff discountsThe OpportunityFrequent travel to BMSA and customer locations across Australia and particularly WA & SA.Protect the health (physical and psychological) and safety of workers and other people within the workplace by eliminating or minimizing risksEnsure all workplace equipment, systems, guidelines, practices and procedures comply with the relevant HSEQ legislation, standards and protocolsConduct regular and effective communication with all stakeholdersCollaborate closely with the National HSEQ TeamEncourage a 'continuous improvement' mindset amongst all stakeholdersIdentify knowledge and/or skill gaps and rectify with appropriate trainingAbout You - EssentialExcellent verbal and written communication (preferably in procedure writing)Solid computing skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office suiteStrong relationship building with internal and external stakeholdersWell-developed organisational and time management skillsKnowledge of current HSEQ statutory requirementsStrong commitment to safety of yourself and othersA valid driver's licenceCurrent work rights in AustraliaAbout You – PreferredExperience working in a similar HSEQ roleRelevant Tertiary QualificationsKnowledge or exposure to Off the Road (OTR) Tyres, mining or related industriesJoin a global leader and access product discounts, career progression and training opportunities.
