About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Service Manager to provide proactive support to the Finance Services function through resource, system and workload management, reporting & analysis, insights, and business improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities Lead the assigned Finance Services team members and core areas ensuring workload is delivered in full and on time according to company policies & guidelines and legislative requirements.
People management, engagement, and development of the assigned core areas.
Reporting & analysis to support operational insights, function workflow management and legislative reporting e.g., Payment Times Reporting.
Business process and system reviews including identifying areas for improvement, development and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and training materials.
Stakeholder engagement and project management to support business improvement and transformation projects.
Perform ad hoc business analysis & improvement tasks as required.
Develop training and change schedules and provide support, education, and training to key internal clients, to facilitate continuous improvement.
About you Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce or a related discipline with CA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of finance experience in a large multi-disciplined organisation.
Demonstrated experience delivering to deadlines across business improvement projects and initiatives such as end-to-end process mapping and documentation, stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, system transformation reviews, project management, and transactional finance operational controls.
