Be a part of a global leader in engineering services.About the RoleWorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Offshore HR Officer to join our client for a permanent opportunity.
As an integral part of our dynamic team, you'll be leading the end-to-end recruitment process for offshore personnel.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, from conducting interviews, verifying qualifications, and overseeing training compliance, to facilitating the mobilisation of personnel to and from our offshore facilities.
You'll be the bridge between our client and contractors, ensuring seamless communication, compliance, and coordination of all HR-related activities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnd to end recruitment of offshore personnel including interviewing, reference checking, training, qualification verification, and pre employment medicals as required in line with the human resources planningWorking closely with offshore administrator and processing timesheets received, cross checkingTraining status monitoring and compliance to meet client and project requirementsAssist with mobilizing personnel to/from offshore facility (crew change), flights arrangement as requiredAssist with communication between Saipem and Contractors – recruitment, approvals from internal stakeholders, internal/external audit assistance, making sure contractors are following Saipem and client processEnsuring all employee compliance are up to date white collar/blue collarAssist with mobilization of employees including assisting with Site orientations, inductionsIssuance of purchase orders for the crewing department – training, transfer, medical tests and related expensesAdministrative support with the crew departmentEnsuring that the Crew Roster is up to dateAssist with the administration of employee training between our client expectation, contractors and internal approvals requiredEngagement with internal support functions accordingly to the requirements of the project and our contractor queries/issuesAssisting with mobilization of expat crew sailing with C1 to Australia, visa requirements, compliance, liaising with role company officesProviding general HR support to projectSkills and Experience4+ years in a similar HR role in the construction/oil and gas industry.
Qualification in Human Resources Management (Diploma or Bachelor).
Experience working in a project environment.
