Relocation supports available to Interstate and New Zealand applicants. This recruitment pool will run for a period of 12 months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts and permanent opportunities. Currently, there are three permanent positions available for immediate filling. About the role The Supervisor Treatment Assessments is responsible for coordinating and supervising a team that conducts clinical assessments of prisoners to determine their suitability for treatment intervention.
The position quality controls the content of assessment reports to ensure suitable standards are maintained within a clinical intervention framework, in accordance with relevant legislative and departmental policy and procedures.
The position works closely with various prisoner assessment teams to ensure the prioritisation and timely completion of treatment assessments across all prisons state-wide.
Qualification requirements: An accredited qualification in Psychology and eligibility for general registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); ORAn approved Social Work qualification and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); ORAn approved four-year behavioural science degree.To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.
All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.

Pool Recruitment This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes.
Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities.
