Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training) At Dripstone, we believe the learning possibilities are endless when children are provided with the space and opportunity to discover through play.
We recognise the immense power of relationships and as such seek to cultivate and nurture strong relationships.
Connection is key in all we do.
Each day at Dripstone, we are privileged to be joined by up to 68 children.
We feel truly blessed to be involved in the lives of the little people who spend their days at Dripstone.
Natural open spaces are what you'll find when you enter the Dripstone grounds.
Together we care for the land that sustains us.
When making design decisions for our grounds, we prioritise edibles alongside bird and butterfly attracting native species.
We recognise the importance of developing skills for life that encompass environmental responsibility for all people, big and small.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Education – The Early Years Tasks & Responsibilities Manage the Centre in accordance with Dripstone's philosophy, aims, and QIP goals Regularly review and update Dripstone's value statements and ethos, ensuring it is reflective of the Centre's vision and the children, families, and employees that contribute to the Dripstone Way Take necessary action to ensure health and safety of all users of the service, including during Beyond the Boundary excursions.
Recruit appropriately skilled educators within approved budget allocations and conduct regular performance reviews with all staff Empower a community of learners that advocate for the Rights of a Child and put children at their best advantage Lead the Mentors, Leaders, and Dream Team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of child-focused, nature-based education and care curriculum Ensure the Centre is compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations Operate within allocated budget, in collaboration with our Bookkeeper and the Treasurer of Dripstone's Management Committee Provide Professional Development opportunities for the team in alignment with the QIP goals and the team's needs Facilitate collaboration between staff on best-practice approaches and encourage professional development #J-18808-Ljbffr
