We haul a variety of freight including coal, intermodal containers, steel, and a range of bulk commodities and materials that keep the region's economy, businesses and households running.
We operate nationally with approximately 3,500 staff in over 90+ sites across Australia.
An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Supervisor to join our team at our Bowen Terminal.
About the role Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Supervisor plays a key role in providing support and leadership to train crew, as well as leading and coordinating the day-to-day operations.
This role will have a strong emphasis on safety leadership, people, implementing business improvements, leading diverse teams in a shift work environment and ensuring productive workplace practices.
In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Pacific National trains run on time, safely and efficiently through consultation with stakeholders.

About you To be successful in this role, you will have a strong leadership and safety background.
An experienced operational leader who is passionate about driving positive change and is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Prior rail experience is not essential; however, previous leadership in logistics or heavy industry is preferable.
