Our company is based near Griffith, NSW, in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, one of Australia's most productive food-growing areas, producing a variety of crops.
Independent Ag's 'home farm' at Benermbah, NSW, has evolved from three generations of the Braithwaite family's hard work, now consisting of 1400 ha of irrigated cropping and permanent plantings.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our irrigated farming operation.
Duties:Full maintenance and repairs of various late- & new-model agricultural plant equipment.Developing a servicing and maintenance program for farm plants.Management of the spares inventory.Monthly reporting on maintenance issues.Assist with plant operation at peak times (sowing/harvest).Adhere to WHS requirements.Qualifications/Skills Desired:Diesel mechanical qualification or ability to prove capabilities.Minimum of HC license.Experience in operating agricultural equipment.Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.Ability to develop and implement plans.This is a diverse business with modern machinery.
A package in line with experience is available, along with a work vehicle, tablet, and phone, which will also be supplied as part of the package.
