In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design and technical input for our design and planning teams, including:
Working closely with the Urbis team, clients and external consultants on residential and industrial master planning and subdivision projects.Managing small to medium projects, ensuring exceptional development and community outcomes to ensure the project vision is delivered.You will: Providing services such as visioning, site analysis, master planning, structure planning, precinct planning, local development plans and detailed subdivision design.Focusing primarily on greenfield master planned communities, large scale industrial precincts and district / local structure planning of new growth corridors.Supporting the local Perth and Dunsborough offices, as well as the National Design team, managing projects and coordinating with other disciplines.Working collaboratively with a variety of professionals and diligently working to timeframes and budgets associated with the projects.Attending meetings with clients, consultants, industry representatives, and team members, as well as assisting with fee proposals and tenders for potential projects.Training and mentoring of junior staff members to assist in the delivery of projects.About you: Demonstrated 3-5+ years of relevant experience and tertiary qualifications in Urban Design, Urban & Regional Planning, Architecture, or a related field.A good understanding of the WA planning framework.
Working knowledge of development control policies such as the R-Codes, Liveable Neighbourhoods and Precinct Design is preferred.Competent in hand drawing/sketching, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and 3D massing software (advantageous).Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team and communicating in a proactive and confident manner.Why Urbis?
