Several of our clients currently require senior electrical designers to deliver their major projects.
These are full-time positions with some permanent positions with most opportunities on minimum 12-month contracts.
The roles are based in Perth with strong progression opportunities in highly-renowned, fast-paced environments.
Sector focuses include mining, mineral processing and O&G.The ideal candidates will be comfortable with creating high quality detailed electrical designs, models, drawings, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
They should have experience with packages such as MicroStation, SolidWorks, ETAP, PowerFactory DIgSILENT, AutoCAD or Revit and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids.ResponsibilitiesPrepare high quality detailed electrical designs, drawings and documentation to meet project specificationsWork in conjunction with project managers, engineers, and other project personnel from the initial planning stages through to project completionInterface with the client regarding designs, providing advice and coordinating solutionsOversee and mentor junior designersEnsure HSEQ and other relevant client and industry standards are metWhat you will haveMinimum 5 years' experience in electrical design and documentation in at least one of the following sectors - mining, mineral processing or O&GAdvanced Diploma, Diploma in relevant field or Electrical trade backgroundExperience with at least one or ideally multiple of MicroStation, SolidWorks, ETAP, PowerFactory DIgSILENT, AutoCAD and/or RevitStrong knowledge of govt and Australian standardsStrong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skillsSuccessful candidates will receive competitive remuneration packages as well as strong progression opportunities within growing organisations with great cultures.Joule Resources - Recruitment that ResonatesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionDesign and EngineeringIndustriesMining, Engineering Services, and Oil and Gas
