Position: Senior Landscape Architect
Location: Regional Council in Victoria's West.
Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (until early 2025)
Working Model: Hybrid - 2-3 days in-office

A local Council in Victoria's West is looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join them on a temporary basis, covering for a team member on Long Service Leave.
This role is integral to creating high-quality public spaces and involves all pre-design stages of project planning, from site analysis and concept development to costing and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site assessments and develop project plans with cost and feasibility analysis.Create detailed design documents, construction plans, and cost estimates.Perform site inspections and supervise construction work to ensure quality.Collaborate on community consultation initiatives as part of project development.Essential Skills & Experience:
Background in landscape/urban design with expertise in public space projects.Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and MS Project.Strong graphic presentation skills and high-level written communication.Knowledge in plant requirements, landscape construction, and contract administration.This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for designing sustainable urban spaces.
