We realise ROI for our clients by enabling them to deliver more engaging, cost-effective and sustainable customer experiences.As a business we draw on a rich heritage from the worlds of print, creative production, retail, data, digital, tech and creative, bringing these disciplines together to support global brands with their omnichannel marketing activation needs.The output: Improved client performance by engaging consumers with brand ideas better, faster and more cost-effectively, across every step of a brand's journey to market.Purpose of the roleAs an Account Director (AD), you will support and drive growth of the assigned accounts through balancing day to day operational support and leadership to the teams with a strategic approach to the client in order to enhance our service offering and overall performance.Vision: The Account Director takes the lead in establishing and nurturing strategic client relationships/engagement across all their brands/markets.Mission: To activate the proposition of Indicia Worldwide through clients ensuring the best customer service, quality and value in line with our clients' needs.Approach: To establish excellence in client services and account management through our values - Collaborative, Entrepreneurial, Pioneering and Accountable.You will contribute to the strategic direction and growth of Indicia Worldwide proposition and will work with your teams and the rest of Client Services teams on client development activities and strategies. You will have a commercial focus and you will work closely with the Business Director/Client Partner/Managing Partner to ensure the contribution to forecasting and the accuracy of the budgeting process. You will also be able to support the strategic framework to secure additional work independently based on current services and work closely with the senior management to educate clients on the value of the entire Indicia proposition.You will have accountability for your team's accuracy, quality, timeliness and profitability of multiple campaigns and projects by coaching and training your direct reports (and any more junior Client Services individuals) on how to manage the briefing, scheduling and delivery process on behalf of the client. You will be expected to help your team to identify opportunities for growth and share them with your Business Director and/or Client Partner.You will be leading by example in delivering Client Services excellence through the lens of our CAPE values. It is expected for the AD to also work collaboratively and constructively with our expert teams to ensure that our work is of the highest quality and that we harness all the expertise in our business to identify opportunities and offer solutions for our clients. You will be a brand ambassador and will enhance collaborative work between your team and the discipline experts. You will always take a cross-company view and you will demonstrate the ability to see the big picture.Relationship ManagementDevelop strong global and local client relationships acting as a 'go-to' person and be seen as a trusted partner.Take responsibility for the client relationship and help them define the strategic direction of their marketing plans.Represent Indicia CAPE values and lead by example in ensuring that their direct team are also developing strong relationships with their client stakeholders and provide support whenever needed.Drive engagement through consistent and meaningful data driven interactions with the client.Address any issues immediately to ensure a mutually acceptable resolution and be responsible for ensuring that the delivery process runs smoothly, and all outputs are delivered to a high quality, on time and on budget.Support the Business Director/ Client Partner/ Managing Partner in ensuring appropriate resourcing to the account, building business cases to support staffing decision making and help address resource priorities.Support and facilitate development of the teams according to the feedback provided by the client and internal stakeholders.Lead by example, act as a mentor and embed the company's values.GrowthProactively develop and implement initiatives to expand Indicia Worldwide's offering to the client while ensuring that the direction of all the work and deliverables reflect the client's mission.Understand the client's industry sector, market position, company objectives, audience insights and use it to identify and drive forward opportunities client proposals & increased scope.Identify successors and ensure a plan is in place for short-, mid- and long-term succession.Build and facilitate such environment where the team feels empowered and engaged to thrive and deliver the company's strategy.Ensure a balanced management for growth and client management to develop relationships.Lead QPMs, work closely with CP to create Client Development Plans and annual budget setting.CommunicationEnsure that the team have a relevant and reliable flow of information on Indicia Worldwide's capabilities, relevant client updates and internal ways of working.Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders – team & SMEs, client and senior leadership as well as any other support function in the business.Financial Accuracy and Analytical SkillsEnsure sound financial management and profitability of the assigned account.Deliver growth within the accounts for existing and new business and delivering increased profitability through a solid cost management.Ensure reliability of the forecasting process, taking full ownership of the financial process and promoting accountability within the team.Support the Business Director, Client Partner and Chief Client Officer in the yearly budgeting process.Strategic Thinking, Direction and PlanningSupport the BD, CP and the CCO in bringing Indicia Worldwide's vision and goals to life, by providing meaningful insights and relevant direction to ensure we are able to respond to all the needs of the client.Present, consult and discuss with clients independently regarding potential new opportunities or areas where Indicia could add further values and to seek support from your Business Director, Client Partner or other Subject Matter Experts whenever needed.Customer FocusLeverage all aspects of the client's relationship and utilise knowledge to have maximum impact on the client's business.Build and deliver clients 'quarterly business reviews' including optimisation plans and proactive initiatives.Negotiation SkillsDiplomatically manage client and team conversations to find mutually beneficial outcomes, be it in terms of savings, value engineering, quality, design, strategy, etc.Campaign ManagementSupport your team in the delivery of campaigns and projects by providing them with the right insights, tools and leadership style.Skills, knowledge, experience and exposureSignificant background in Account Management, ideally coming with an Account Director background from an integrated marketing communications agency, and/or Account Management teams leadership experience.Demonstrated high level of exposure to multisector and international environments and ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.Relevant experience in the marketing/client management industry: including Media, Technology, Retail, FMCG and/or beverage.Relevant experience in an Agency environment is key.POSM/Print technical requirement.Full understanding of entire end-to-end marketing process, from client strategic requirement to deliver cross-channels.Clear passion for excellence in delivery drawing on experience to provide best in class briefs and exceed client expectations.Evidence of strategic and critical thinking to lead performance driven marketing programmes.Experience in managing client profitability, targets and generating income.Proven experience in developing and maintaining excellent inter-departmental working relationships and practices with internal teams.Proven ability to delegate and oversee multiple projects ensuring consistent delivery on time and budget.POSM Design, Production & ExecutionExperience in ensuring major POSM campaigns are executed to the highest standards whilst achieving our collective KPIs.A clear knowledge of what is the latest and most advanced types of POSM, from print to digital.Full understanding of the entire end-to-end marketing process from client strategic requirements to delivery cross-channels.Data Experience (non-Data team)Experience in working alongside data teams (analysts, data scientists) to deliver their role.A foundational understanding of key concepts, statistics, machine learning, databases, APIs.Understands where and when to leverage data. They will also be able to keep a long-term view and manage pressure of the client and leadership, driving a culture that empowers their team members and facilitates accountability.The Account Director is a people centered leader and will make their team a priority, finding always time to have meaningful interactions, quality time through 1:1's and building a trusted relationship by providing and gathering feedback on a regular basis. They will proactively provide support to their teams and will feel accountable for the development of their direct teams.Temperament for the roleThe Account Director will have strong leadership and coaching skills, with a visible strength in active listening and will also perform with a high degree of resilience and ability to maintain a long-term view when facing immediate challenges, supporting a constructive and smooth resolution of issues. They will also be creative, positive, flexible and pioneering when providing solutions to challenges.They will be capable of always keeping a respectful, constructive and intelligent communication style and will be great at conflict management skills, such as displaying patience, practicing empathy or keeping a positive attitude.The Account Director will also show a high level of prioritisation skills and will be effective in delegating and managing workload through the team.Role RequirementsThe Account Director will be expected to spend a significant amount of their time on client interactions, with a preference to have them face to face, meaning that significant travel could be expected within the regional scope. Attendance to internal business meetings may result as well in travelling internationally.The Account Director will be expected to deal with high level of complexity tasks and challenges with autonomy and ensuring alignment with company's strategy and directives.They will be expected to perform in a flexible environment but ensuring delivery. In exceptional circumstances, overtime may be required to match client or internal deadlines.The Account Director will be required to work regularly from the Client's office(s) and attend Indicia Worldwide's offices when needed.
