From dining in our venues to bespoke catering for private and corporate events, we pride ourselves on quality, innovation, and a dedication to outstanding service.We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations while playing an active role in the kitchen.
This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for a motivated professional eager to create, inspire, and contribute to the growth of our venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of chefs across multiple venues, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and innovation.
Actively participate in food preparation and service, ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and flavour across all offerings.
Create and execute seasonal menus for the restaurant, café, and catering services that reflect creativity, market trends, and local produce.
Operational Management:

Oversee daily kitchen operations across all venues, ensuring seamless service, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.
Develop and implement best practices for kitchen workflow, food preparation, and service delivery.
Monitor kitchen staff performance, providing training and professional development to maintain high standards.
Ensure compliance with WHS, HACCP, and all relevant health and safety regulations.
Financial Oversight:

Manage budgets, control food and meet profitability targets while maintaining quality.
Conduct regular stocktakes, manage food inventory, and establish relationships with suppliers to optimize costs and quality.
Catering & Event Innovation:

Collaborate with the events team to develop tailored menus for private and corporate catering clients.
Innovate and execute bespoke offerings that align with client expectations, ensuring memorable culinary experiences.
About You:
We are looking for an Executive Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment.
You are a hands-on leader with a passion for food, creativity, and operational excellence.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a multi-venue setting, catering operation, or similar high-pressure environment.
Expertise in menu development and execution, showcasing creativity and an understanding of contemporary dining trends.
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring, training, and managing kitchen teams.
Proficiency in budget management, food cost control, and labor efficiency.
A solid understanding of WHS, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Preferred Attributes:

Min 5 years' experience
Culinary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
A proven track record in managing catering services, including bespoke events.
Experience with local and international cuisines, with an emphasis on seasonal and fresh produce.
