THE ROLE: Partnering with the business and team members to design learning modules that align to business objectives and learner needsDesigning creative, effective and engaging learning materials and programs using a variety of platforms and toolsFacilitating a blended learning approach that includes e-learning, virtual sessions, self-directed learning as well as face-to-face workshops, sessions, and modules – travel required at timesAssessing & evaluating training initiatives to ensure successWorking collaboratively with stakeholders to identify core skill gaps, key learner priorities, and embed learning initiativesWorking closely with the HR and Safety teams to ensure training meets legislative requirements and best practicesConsistently adapting to the needs of the business as they occurTHE CANDIDATE: Previous experience within a similar role where you have delivered mechanical / auto electrical training sessions – you are confident with your knowledge of all things mechanical / auto-electrical and really enjoy working with teams to deliver training sessions that genuinely add valueRelevant qualifications as a qualified mechanic or auto electricianCert IV in Training & Assessment or similarA current Class C driver's license – some travel to regional areas requiredA natural desire to keep up to date on current and future trends in automotive technology and design, electric vehicles in particularExcellent facilitation skills – you don't care if you're in a room full of people or delivering content online.
You're a natural communicator and genuinely love working with people.The role is based in Sydney Olympic Park (1 day in the office, 4 days WFH) with the occasional visit to the city and travel when required to other training locations.
A great mix of face-to-face and online interaction with the Roadside team of a household name.
It's perfectly suited to candidates who have a mechanic / auto electrical background that has transitioned into a training-based role.
You may be a TAFE teacher delivering course content or perhaps you are working for a competitor in a similar role where the challenge is no longer there and 2025 is your chance to secure a new position.
