About Our School
A Catholic systemic secondary school for boys in the Marist tradition, Years 7-12 (currently 980 students), Marcellin College Randwick forms honourable young men who can contribute to the creation of a better world.

Position Highlights
The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student-centred, flexible and challenging.
This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025.
The Coordinator position is a promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years; however, your classroom teaching position (1.0FTE) will be full-time and permanent.

Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100 salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students ongoing training and development opportunities About You
As a Music - Teacher in Charge, you will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to :
create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Music utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences organise and lead the music at all College Masses and Assemblies lead the Music Department with Teaching and Learning.
You will have attained :
a tertiary qualification in Education eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
