Statewide services and programs, including specialist outreach and telehealth servicesPartnerships with other hospital and health services and non-government organisationsChildren's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Within the Deadly Ears Statewide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ear Health Program, the Clinical Nurse (CN) role provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of paediatric ENT clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.
This role works autonomously within the Healthcare Team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of ENT clinic and specialist perioperative nursing care, as well as leading nurse and allied health clinics.
The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research.
The role supports management activities including portfolio responsibilities.
