Located in the Western Metropolitan suburb of Melton Victoria 3337, Kurunjang Secondary College is a stand-alone Years 7 to 12 college with a current population of over 900 students.
The school is in the second year of its Strategic Plan period.

The focus is on enhancing student outcomes, particularly in the areas of literacy and numeracy.
In addition, our plan is to improve results in our VCE student outcomes and increase the participation of students into tertiary, particularly university, education.
RoleAttendance requirement for this position: non-attendance during school holiday periods.
The position of Reception and OH&S Administration will provide high-level administrative support to the Business Manager and OH&S Nominee.
This role is a front-facing college-wide role that works closely with the Business Manager and Administration team.
An education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction.
This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
ResponsibilitiesSpecific responsibilities include:
Reception/Administration Duties Represent Kurunjang as the first point of contact in a professional, warm, friendly and efficient manner, providing reception support that meets the day-to-day requirements of the College.Maintain school records system, including computerized student, staff and school records through CASES21 and Compass and general data entry.Handling of EFTPOS and cash transactions.Maintain first aid qualifications and provide sick bay support as required.Assist with monitoring student late arrivals and corresponding records.OH&S Administrative Support Duties Provide administrative support to the OHS nominee to manage and monitor OHSMS processes and complete routine tasks that align with these management systems.Monitor, manage and update Department and College OHS risk register in consultation with the OHS nominee.Coordinate and attend working party meetings including communication of minutes and manage relevant actions to support the OHS nominee.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
