Our Head of Programs has the power to change the lives of millions of children around the world.
Reporting to the CEO of Library For All, the Head of Programs is responsible for ensuring that Library For All's programs are working efficiently and effectively to fulfil our mission.
Responsibilities: Driving rigorous portfolio planning and execution aligned to the Library For All strategy.Supporting effective and efficient delivery through designing and rolling out new robust operational systems and processes.Working with the CEO to redefine Library For All's business model to ensure we effectively respond to changing international and domestic market conditions and emerging opportunities.Establishing comprehensive frameworks for operational oversight, monitoring, and quality assurance of program delivery across the LFA portfolio.Providing strategic operational input at critical project review points, including project design, proposal development, and donor reporting.Developing a partnership framework that enables timely decision-making and leverages resources to deliver against our strategy.Identifying common constraints and requirements across the portfolio, leading harmonization efforts in line with Save the Children standards and exploring innovative solutions.Collaborating with Finance and Business Development teams to ensure new projects align with the forward-looking LFA business model and cost-recovery mechanisms.Leading product management, including customer feedback processes, product planning, prioritization, and delivery.Providing direct and indirect management of program delivery staff in LFA and partner countries, focusing on supervision, support, team coordination, staff development, and performance management.Qualifications: Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder portfolio.Demonstrated experience in program strategy development and implementation.Extensive experience in organizational change management.Background in technology-enabled social impact programs preferred.Advanced project management capabilities.Strong financial modelling and budget management skills.Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics tracking.Technology product management expertise.Advanced knowledge of international development funding mechanisms.Benefits: Opportunity to work on additional projects to enable you to stretch and feel connected to programs in a different way.Individual learning plans to help map and deliver on your career development.Internal employment and development opportunities.Support for workplace wellness, including access to our free, confidential Employee Wellbeing Program.Celebrate and feel supported in your diversity.
