Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)Full timeTerra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.About the Role:We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team. Reporting to the People and Culture Director, this role is perfect for a people-focused professional dedicated to aligning HR functions with business objectives while promoting a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:Lead the HR team to deliver key people and culture services for the projectDevelop and implement HR objectives in collaboration with managementBuild and manage stakeholder relationships across the projectOversee HR activities, including administration, employment relations, compensation, safety, benefits, induction, and EEO/affirmative action.Maintain and review workforce plans to optimise employee developmentEnsure personnel records meet statutory and organisational requirementsImplement and monitor the Gender Diversity Action PlanWhat We're Looking For:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and collaborate with diverse teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.Qualifications and Experience:Qualification in Business Administration, Psychology, Business Management, Law or Employee RelationsProven experience providing HR leadership and senior level experience across relevant HR disciplines in a construction or related industrySkills and Attributes:In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.Proficiency in HR systems, payroll, and data analysis tools.Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Problem-solving and decision-making expertise.Commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and a positive workplace culture.Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges.High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.Why Join Us?At Terra Verde, we are committed to fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
