Transgrid operates and manages the operation of 13,248km high voltage transmission wires and 126 substations in NSW and the ACT, connecting generators, distributors, and major end users.

About the Opportunity In your new role, you will create project plans ensuring schedules are well-developed and optimised and provide advice as the SME.

With your exceptional negotiation skills, you will proactively discuss and communicate project timelines and milestones, keeping your stakeholders on side and ensuring the best outcomes for the projects.

In collaboration with Portfolio Controls and project team members, you will drive schedule and risk reviews, delay analysis and Earned Value Assessment, and closely work with project controls to enable forecasting, performance, and variance reviews.

About you Tertiary qualifications at a degree level in engineering or a related discipline Extensive experience and understanding of project planning, scheduling, progress reporting, earned value andrisk in a capital intensive industry (Infrastructure, Energy/Utilities, etc.)
Strong experience in utilising Primavera P6 and MS Project to manage integrated master schedule and building/maintaining detailed plans High level interpersonal, stakeholder management, and written/verbal communication skills Familiarity with and experience in project management and project controls standards Strong command of Excel and other Office tools Recognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
