We are looking to recruit full-time waken night-shift staff members to join our Scone Service.
Shifts are on a rota working 4 on and 4 off from 10 PM to 8 AM.
We support over 2800 individuals with a variety of needs, some may have physical and/or learning disabilities and mental health challenges, some with limited verbal communication, and some with challenging behaviour.
You will be provided with full training by our excellent and award-winning learning & development team prior to starting.
This training initially consists of classroom-based sessions and e-learning, as well as the opportunity to shadow current Support Practitioners in their day-to-day role and meet the people you will be supporting.
About the Role:Your responsibilities as a Support Practitioner could include:
Social Support - Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities such as day centres, cinema, swimming, etc.Medical Support - Administering and monitoring medication.Personal Care - Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with the dentist/doctor, and incontinence care.Practical Support - Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.Not only will you get a rewarding career in social care by helping those we support, but you can also enjoy some of the great benefits we offer:
