Our farms based in the Shire of Gingin, grow carrots for export and the domestic market. The carrots are processed and packed in our world class processing facility based in Woodridge.The company is a family business that is continuously expanding and developing.The RoleWe are looking for a true professional to fill the position of Assistant Administration/Accounting Manager for our two companies. To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of an Accounting Diploma and HR Diploma or similar. It is essential that you have at least 5-years work experience in Accounting and HR/Payroll. The role is part-time 24 hours per week with the abilty to work full-time when required to cover all duties of the Manager. In due time this position will be permanent full-time to fill the position of Administration/Accounting Manager on retirement.DutiesAccounts payable & receivable EOW & EOMAdministration support & reportingBusiness Activity StatementsBank reconciliations monthlyCredit card payments and reconciliationDebt collection & reportingFinancial reporting to directorsFixed asset managementHR & IR issues - including drafting of employment contracts and agreementsInsurance renewalsJournal entries to GL monthlyManagement of Administration Team and rosteringPayroll & superannuation EOW & EOM & EOYSTP reportingWorkers Compensation reportingAbout youDiploma in Accounting and HR or equivalentAt least 5 years experience in a similar roleArticulate communication skills, written and verbalCrucial to be competent in all duties requiredAdvanced excel and word skillsKnowledge of horticulture and export/shipping industry is an advantageAble to multi task and work under pressure to meet deadlinesHave initiative and driveWell presentedReckon accounting experience desired but not essentialSybiz and Deputy experience will be beneficialThis is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who has all the above requirements to work for a thriving well-known export company.
