About the role: This newly created position is a senior leadership opportunity within Origin's Corporate Affairs team and will oversee the delivery of corporate communication activities to external audiences and to our people.
A key focus of the position will be supporting Origin's senior leadership with strategic communication advice, and assisting with tactical execution, while ensuring consistent messaging across all stakeholders, activities and channels.
Why this role matters? Oversee the Corporate Communication team's development of Origin's communication strategies and materials to support the company's prioritiesManage approval of all internal and external communication materials to ensure clear and consistent messaging, including ASX and media releases and a range of other content across Corporate Communication, Investor Relations and digital/social and marketing functionsLiaise with key media as a first point of contact on behalf of Origin and act as company spokesperson, as requiredManage issues and crisis, liaising directly with senior leaders as required, and cascading messages as appropriate to our people and external stakeholdersWork collaboratively with the Corporate Affairs team and broader Origin teams and keep them informed of Corporate Communication activities and issues that may affect their stakeholders.What will you bring? Extensive experience developing and implementing effective communication strategies that support commercial objectives, ideally in a listed company environmentOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to advise and influence executives and senior leadersAbility to synthesise complex information and convey it in a straight-forward way that helps engage and align stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to forge constructive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholdersSignificant experience advising senior leaders on reputation management.So, why join us?
